Abstract Paintings

I prefer working large. The paintings are often 6 by 8 ft. and made of multiples of three or four... Painted in mixed media, oils, acrylics and enamels,applying multiple layers. I use metallic paint and gold leaf often. Each painting is like a small cosmos or slice of time in a stellar journey... I draw, continue painting, sometimes for months, trapping the passage of time; painting visions and nuances of light on canvas and wooden board.
